E-learning module

As part of an initiative to reduce compensation paid out by the NHS, the eFM (electronic fetal monitoring) project is a programme of learning for midwives and consultants, aimed at reducing the number of cases of preventable mortality and damage to newborns.

Midwives and consultants wanted to be able to work through their online learning objectives from home or whilst on the move but existing e-learning content had been delivered using Adobe Flash meaning content tended not to be compatible with tablets and some desktop browsers.
